Hello from Las Glorias!

Buenos tardes amigos!  Como estas?  I'm just showing off.  We are in Mr Moro's campground.  It has been a few wet days, swimming and all.  8 hrs in all this week.  Today, 4 hrs!  We went in the pool, then the ocean, and took to the waves, and went and got beat up by them.  I got a nose bleed.  IT WAS SO FUN, being twirled and whirled under water by them.   Then we jumped in the pool again and again.  It is so beautiful here in Las Glorias.  Trucks on the beach, frigate birds,   sandy feet.  Alamos was beautiful too, there were locals on horses on cobbled streets.  High side walks in case of floods.  Trying to communicate with the Mexicans.  Levi got caught in a tight situation trying to talk to someone.  His learning from that experience is "One word leads to more words, so you might as well keep your mouth shut."

  1. Hi Phaelan, sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner. Levi doesn't think that he has lost any lego peices. Although mom might force him to leave some behind to make room for her shells.

  3. Hola!
I'm sitting in my office at Providence Farm watching, through the office window, huge, wet snowflakes fall and swirl around the yard....how do you say "enough already" in Spanish?! Las Glorias does sound glorious, especially today!
Love your photos, Narah...they have a nice feel and tell a story all on their own.
    Happy swimming & beach combing!

  4. Heya Nar,
Thanks for keeping up with this - its a highlight of my week!

And Lev - I read the emails you sent to Oma and Opa - you should apply as a guest writer for the blog! It was fun to hear your"voice" too.

Skylar, I'll make a snow angel for you while you are gone. Nah- just kidding, the snow on the ground is wet and slushy, like a thousand coke slurpees all poured out on the lawn. Maybe you can make me a sand angel instead?

    Love,
    Carmen
